The Gigaflight™ CAT5 Ethernet Cable is a high-speed, 24 AWG two-twisted-pair data bus cable engineered for advanced ARINC 646 LAN, RS-422, and RS-485 applications. Designed specifically for aerospace and avionics systems, this cable provides superior shielding effectiveness and consistent impedance for reliable data transmission in high-speed data bus (HSDB) environments, including Garmin systems.

The double-shield construction combines 100% composite foil and a 90% tin-plated copper braid to deliver excellent EMI protection and low signal loss. Each twisted pair is color-coded (Blue/White, White/Blue and Orange/White, White/Orange) for simplified identification during installation. The foamed high-temperature fluoropolymer insulation ensures stable electrical performance, while the white laser-markable Tefzel® jacket offers durability, flexibility, and compatibility with automated marking systems.
