Originally developed for the U.S. Air Force, the AFM8 meets the need for a compact crimping solution that accommodates wire sizes from 32 to 20 AWG. It is ideal for use with most miniature and sub-miniature connectors found in modern aerospace applications.

Qualified to Mil-Spec M22520/2-01, the AFM8 features a positive ratchet mechanism that ensures a complete crimp cycle every time, maintaining uniform contact deformation and conductor engagement. Its lightweight, ergonomic frame allows for comfortable use in tight spaces, while the precision calibration guarantees repeatable, high-quality crimps that meet strict aviation standards.
